The ERC is now offering schools previews of its computer-based testing system. In spring 2016, selected schools will be invited to take part in standardisations of some of our of new computer-based tests, free of charge. This opportunity will allow teachers and students a chance to experience these assessments before they are available for general release. Schools can avail of free standardised testing, including student reports, and gain first-hand experience of the computer-based platform in advance of its official launch in the autumn.
The new computer-based test delivery system is designed to significantly reduce teacher workload by providing automated scoring and reporting. Furthermore, the system does not rely on paper-based material. All administration can be completed online. Student details can be loaded directly into the system, which generates secure login details for students, and scores their tests. We look forward to working with teachers, students and parents across Ireland on this exciting new venture.
If your school has not been selected for the standardisation studies, but you'd like to know more, please feel free to contact us.
